Not Me! Monday

First off,  I would like to talk about The Oscars. Hugh. Jackman. Did. The. BEST. Opening. Act. EVER!! I actually enjoyed the Oscars this year. Not because I actually saw any of the movies or heard of them, but because it was entertaining and not drab. Was Beyonce lipsyncing? Honestly, that was BAD! And Daniel Craig, I know you might be James Bond and all, and you are quite the piece of eye candy, but you are not one with the telePrompter. Were you mad to be at the Oscars? Or do you just not have a personality? You might want to work on that, though. That's all I'm sayin'. Of course, we know I am here to talk fashion on the Red Carpet. Didn't you get that memo? The one about me being the fashion police? No? Well, I am. Kate Winslet look fabulous as usual, except for her hair. I'm not sure what was up with that. Halle Berry was beautiful as always. I'm not really sure what was up with Jennifer Anniston's braid, but she looked pretty too. I refuse to talk about Angelina Jolie, except that, I wish she would cover up her tatoos. They make me nauseous. Anne Hathaway always knows how to work a red carpet. But my very favorite was Marissa Tomei(spelling?). Her dress was absolutely gorgeous!!! Her her was fabulous. She looked radiant. Even if she didn't win. Now, some bad ones that stick out in my mind are Sophia Loren and Jessica Biel. Sophia, I loved the belt thing going on, but fringe? On your sleeves? No Thanks. Mark that down as a don't. Jessica, it looked like you had a paper sack as a top. Not a good look. 

Anyway, I am taking a note from Sarah and going to do a Not Me! Monday. These things certainly did not take place in my household this week.

1. I certainly did not fight my 2 year old daughter over her princess trash can on Wednesday when John and I were deathly ill. Not Me!

2. And I certainly did not fight John over going to the doctor because we couldn't stop throwing up and I did not vomit in the doctor's office while she was taking my blood pressure. Not Me!

3. I have NEVER uttered the phrase, "Addison, please stop straddling Trixie, she is a dog, not a horse." Not Me!

4. I did not strap Claire in her carseat and drive around for 30 minutes before a shower on Saturday so she would fall asleep. Not Me!

5. And last, but not least, I did not ask Addison, "Please don't put Cinderella in the microwave, I don't think she will appreciate it." Not ME!!
