Drastic times call for drastic measures

I did something drastic.

Something INCREDIABLY drastic.

I cut my already short hair and then dyed it.

Impulses get me every time.

I was inspired by Oofa. Her hair is just gorgeous. I do not think I am in the same league as her, as my cut is a LOT different. But.. it will grow. and I dig the color. A LOT. More than I thought I would. Now... alls I need is some honest opinions. Whatcha thinks?

BEFORE:

AFTER:

Now, I want HONEST. Not my sister's honest. Which is "I Love it! What do YOU think??" Whenever she says that... then I know. It's hideous. ( Yes, I am onto you, Sarah!) I want to know if you hate it or love it.

P.S. What about the disgusting crows feet I didn't know I had? Is Botox a bad idea at 25? I'm thinking... Not.

Help Me, Rhonda!

Okay.. I need some opinions. Because I H.A.T.E. making decisions. I found Claire's Christmas outfit. Isn't it adorable?!!? I had to snatch it up. I am having trouble with Addison's though. The shop owner didn't order the Big Sis matching outfit.. and let's be honest here, my girls. have. to. match. I feel in lurve with the fabric and I remembered that Addison had been given a shirt a looonngg time ago with the same fabric and I was thinking it was possibly the right size. Well, it's not. It's a size 4 instead of a 3. Soo... I can either, take back Claire's outfit( which, I lurve. Did I mention that?) or I can try to either make the shirt work for Addison and sew some matching green courdoroy pants( which I don't have the fabric for). What do you think? Since my girlies are red headed, it's hard to find cute Christmas clothes that aren't red, that aren't too dressy and that match.

Maybe I should just stop being so O.C.D about things.

(Yeah... like that's gonna happen!!)

Look at the cute, cute, cute smocking!!

Ohh, Santa.. you little cutie

Another look? Don't mind if I do...

This is the shirt for Addison... the fabric is a perfect match!! How weird?

The neck is a boat neck style.

The sleeves are what is SOOO big on her.

Okay, peeps... so what should I do?!!?

The Turtle That Got Away

Last week, my sister and her boys came over to Re-po my breast pump( it's a long story, she rents them and is kind to her sister but if anyone needs to rent a pump and she doesn't have one, guess who's gets stolen?). Since we are sisters, we got a little chatty and sent the kids out to ride bikes for a little bit. The kids come running in after a little screaming that there is a huge turtle in our yard. I'm thinking, "I think I saw this tiny turtle in the road the other day, but cool!" So, we go outside and look out towards the road and sure enough, there is a huge turtle. Huge enough that Sarah started yelling, "Go get your camera!!" but I was two steps ahead of her and already had it in my hand and was running back outside. It is absolutely the largest turtle I ever laid eyes on. I don't care what anyone says, that turtle was FAST. It knew I was coming after it and it was looking for a place to hide. It went for the sewer. Maybe this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle was looking for Splinter.

Raphael ended up getting stuck in there, because he was too big to turn around and had to just keep inching forward. Joseph taunted him with a long piece of grass and he ended up snapping at it. The boys wanted to touch him, but I said it prob'ly wasn't their best idea, being as turtles carry all kinds of diseases. I tried to show Raphael the turtle on my toe, but I was afraid he would bite it off.

Tailgating with the Tide

I finally remembered to actually take pictures of the tailgate this weekend! We always have such a great time, and this weekend was no disappointment. We got in town ready to go eat at Nicks in the Sticks and it was already an hour and a half wait at 5:45! So, we ended up at the Iguana Grill, which is still good, but it's not Nicks.
John's dad made some Bloody Marys at my request and they were just as amazing as I remembered. ( he makes the best bloody mary. ever.)

John nailing the stakes into the ground

John and Linda watching to make sure he was doing it right

Each side of the tent says something different.

Jay and Brandon playing "cornhole"- which I totally suck at, but I DID make 3 cornholes so Brandon and I spanked John and Brooke

Lucky dogs- Bryant and Jay get to scoot around on this awesome golf cart.

Bryant and John give the tailgate a "thumbs up"

What happens when the generator runs out of gas? Well, the tent collapses in about 15 seconds and I grab my camera and take pictures.

Odie helping John put some more gas in the generator.

It was an awesome Homecoming weekend for the Tide. We had a great time and beat South Carolina 20-6. It was super cold, but worth it. :) If anyone is going to be heading to the Alabama vs Tennessee game, we will be setting up across from the Quad next to the President's Mansion. We would love to see you!
